If Piaget first made its name thanks to its many innovative watch creations, the brand shows the same flair and creativity in its more conventional timepieces. The Manufacture has an in-house creation studio, which includes a team of 8 designers who are given free rein when it comes to conceiving new models. On average about a hundred new watch references are launched each year. The development of a watch requires nearly a year's work, from the first designs, presented in the form of gouache drawings, to the development into three-dimensional models, and culminating in the production of prototypes, which give a more precise idea of the technical and aesthetic factors involved.
