Manufacture Piaget 860P Movement

The 860P movement is a variation of the 800P movement and has retained its double barrel. It is a self-winding mechanical movement with a large astronomical moon. Positioned at 6 o'clock on the dial, it displays the moon phases in a large aperture of 12 mm — a clear Piaget design preference by the watchmaker. Controlled by an extremely fine gear train, it will lose or gain only one day in 122 years. A wheel of 135 teeth drives the rotation of the moon mask which, as the name suggests, hides and reveals a second disc symbolizing the moon.
