Manufacture Piaget 1200P Movement

Direct descendant of the legendary 12P movement, the 1200P is the thinnest self-winding mechanical movement in the world. To achieve the record-breaking thinness of 2.35 mm, the watchmaker, Piaget relied on all of its ultra-thin expertise and trimmed down all of the movement's components. Some of the gears in the 1200P have been reduced to only 0.12 mm, hardly thicker than a human hair, and the space between the wheels has been reduced to a minimum of only 0.1 mm. It is also equipped with a balance stop. In order to make the best use of space, the platinum micro-rotor, decorated with the Piaget coat of arms is off-centred and positioned at 9 o'clock on the movement.
